Hey guys,
I have a question about a project where I have for visualize some Data in PowerBI. I want to create a template, where I can just import the dataflow. As plus, I wish that the visuals will update automatically when I overwrite the blanc table with the filled table.
I tried to create a blanc table with the same headers as the datatables which I have to import (I wrote a program to categorize the coloumns in the same sections). The little quirk in this workflow is that I have to update every datatypes in the visuals. For more than 30 visuals it's very lavish.
My question to is if there is any feature in PowerBI (Desktop or in Web) to overwrite these dataflows easily to get a better workflow. If not, is there any possibility to write a program to enable it?
Thank you in advance for answering my question.
Greetings,
dxstin

Hi @dxstin ,
There doesn't seem to be a way to accomplish this, Power BI automatically detects and updates data types, you can change all the data types in the power query before using it visually.
Hope it helps!
