I recently had to rebuild my computer and reinstall my PowerBI Desktop. When I opened up a particular file, which calls on data sources such as Access databases and excel CSV files, it always now prompts me with my Outlook Mail Profile and I have to click "Yes" multiple times in order for the refresh to go through; toggling it to be the default profile doesn't stop the request. I'm unsure whythis is happening and I would like to get rid of this.
Any thoughts/help most appreciated!
Thx
Hi @Wolly ,
Regarding our discussion, I wonder if this issue has been resolved by now? It's been a long time since I've heard back from you and I'm not sure if all is well. Please feel free to let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.
Hope it helps!

Apologies for the belated reply.
Data sources include tables in Access databases, excel spreadsheets and pdfs. Nowhere do i see that the tables access outlook info....but I changed the privacy for these database sources to "Organizational". But that didn't change anything.
Also I've been using the web-enabled outlook (instead of the desktop version) as it seems Msft is looking to migrate all to that so I don't have the typical settings you pasted. That said, when being prompted for a profile, I press ok and always toggle "make default"....
But no change. It still brings up the prompt each time.
Other thoughts?
Hi @Wolly ,
We first need to make sure that the data source you are linking to doesn't need to be involved in what outlook is accessing.
After that we'll troubleshoot any problems with the desktop, it could be that the privacy level is causing problems,
or it could be that the permissions on the dataset are not configured accurately.
Finally go and check that there is something about the outlook configuration.
Ensure that the default mailbox is configured correctly and that there are no additional configurations that need to be confirmed by the user.
Hope it helps!
