Hi,
I have the below excel which i am trying to replicate in power bi
I can usually do this in a matrix and i can get the total. But the issue have here is, how can i add the extra two totals: completed total and pending total rows. I am not sure how i can achieve this.
Does anybody have any suggestions of how i can do it in matrix visual or any other visual ideas i can use to achieve similar result?
Greatly Appreciate all the help!
@Saga You could essentially use the Disconnected Table Trick. Here is an example using Columns but you could do the exact same thing for the rows. The New Hotness (Custom Matrix Hierarchy) - Microsoft Power BI Community
@Greg_Deckler I have created table with the distinct stages: stage1,stage2, stage3,stage4,stage5 and on as column1 and also add my other totals as rows to it. i have column 2 with numbers for sort order.
Can you share how i can modify the measure which you did for column for rows.
I didnt follow that correctly. So i have to create custom hierarchy : proj1, stage1, 1; proj2, stage2, 2 and so on...
Is that right? If so that wont be a feasible solution because i have atleast 100proj with could have 15different stages.
