Hi,
I am trying to build an organization chart. I have 2 columns, Job_Id & Supervisor_Id.
The visual does not allow me to filter/drill based on any member in the organization.
The reason for this is that the SupervisorId at the highest level should be blank or null, for an org chart to display'
Is there a way to blank the supervisor column when a selection is performed on the job title slicer.?
Here is the sample https://drive.google.com/file/d/1P3XFhZT6nK1sLG9MQBaaIAxxGuYttukv/view?usp=sharing
Thanks,
Brian
HI @Anonymous,
AFAIK, current power bi does not support creating dynamically calculated columns based on filter or slicers. They are wok on different data levels and you can't use child level to affect its parent.
Notice: the data level of power bi.
Database(external) -> query table(query, custom function, query parameters) -> data model table(table, calculate column/table) -> data view with virtual tables(measure, visual, filter, slicer)
