Hello I am trying to get a card to display our most recent stock on hand. I want it to refresh when new items are added to dataset. So far its only summing and averaging all items.
@RJPostguard you can use INDEX function to get the latest data:
Latest Stock Measure =
CALCULATE (
SUM ( Table[Stock] ),
INDEX (
1,
ALLSELECTED ( Table ),
ORDERBY ( Table[Date], DESC ),
PARTITIONBY ( Table[Item] )
)
)

I have a dataset which includes the date, stock availbity, and how many shipments were made. I constantly add to this list daily to add new stock count. Same items are being added each time, just different dates, and quantity per day as well as shipments. I would like to reflect the most recent quantity(Available column) on power bi corresponding to each item in the table ( about 25 items quantity quotes that need to be displayed). I would like power bi to grab the latest date and also the quantity. and also be able ot refresh the dataset when new data is added daily. Thank you!
