Only load new data

Hello,

 

I am needing some assistance with a current issue. I am connected to MySQL and I have a dashboard that will update daily and include historical data. I have a table of historical daily data and a table of new day data. I want to only append the new data to the historical data without refreshing or loading the other table. I am not sure the the difference between enable load and report refresh.

 

How can I only run one table and turn off the other so that it no longer loads the same data again. Hope this makes sense.

If you do not enable load the table disappears from your model. If you disable refresh, it stops refreshing but the table and data are still there.

Hi,

 

Is this once it is published? Or Can I do it now while I am on desktop. I realize append does not work everytime.
