I needed to create a visual with a trendline that also shows only the last 24 months of data and a started with a visual that would not allow me to add a trendline. I learned that I must change my x axis type from continuous to categorical to get the trend line option but when I change it my data labels get wonky.
My months kind of make sense because it shows the first month in each quarter so maybe some type of heirarchical thing going on there?
But the column values just seem to be random. It will skip one or two and then show two or three then skip another one or two etc. Is there a way i can get month and year on every column as well as the column values without losing my trendline?
Thanks in advance!

@OhLookAnError , It seems like a continuous axis, make it categorical
if needed have month year and month year sort column in your table and use month year column
Month Year = FORMAT([Date],"mmm-yyyy")
Month Year sort = FORMAT([Date],"yyyymm")
