Hello People,
In my model I got two tables, one derived from the other.
I eliminated duplicates from the column I want to bound with the primary table.
The derived table have disctinct and unique values, with no blank nor null. 100% valid data.
The primary table has neither bank nor null values on this key column.
Should be a perfect match for a one to many relationship. However Power BI doesn't let me , but a many to many.
What could be the reason ?
Thanks.
Max

Hi guys,
I 've changed the data type of the primary/foreign key to be int instead string. It worked. Thank for your support.

@maxatilla2405 PQ is case-sensitive, maybe some of the rows have the same data but with different cases. Change the case of the column first and then do the distinct and see if that fixes it. Also, make sure values are trimmed, maybe there is a space that is causing the duplicate values.

Please create a pbix file that contains some sample data but still reflects your data model (tables, relationships, calculated columns, and measures), upload the pbix to Onedrive or Dropbox, and share the link. If you are Excel to create the sample data instead of the manual input method share the xlsx as well.
Describe the expected results based on the sample you provide.
