I have a very legacy model that is far from ideal, but we are re-working all of our models with a new general ledger. However, until we have removed all the technical debt, I need to figure out why this one Sum is not working. Instead of trying to type out all of the details, this video URL below will explain the problems.

I just need to get the LY T&E to work for all customers regardless of where I pull that from. The calculation, as you can see in the video above, is very basic. Clearly, this is some relationship issue.
While I appreciate and understand your response, I have inherited this model and am trying to troubleshoot something for a last-minute business meeting. I do agree that this issue is likely the result of the overall model being a problem.
Thanks for the reply from danextian.

I can see that your legacy model is seriously very far from ideal. Other than many-to-many, I can see a lot of bidirectional relationships which themselves can cause unexpected results. If I were in your shoes, I would just start rebuilding this model - I'd combine tables with the same structures into one, use a separate dates table (like you mentioned in the video), use dim tables to bridge the fact tables with different structures.
