One Item in several hierarchies/can't create a PATH

Hi all,

I have a problem with hierarchies in PBI.

I have a table, where I have columns with article and it parent.

In my case, one article can appears in several hierarchies and I cant't create a PATH.

"Each value in 'Query1'[article] must have the same value in 'Query1'[parent]. The value 'W01020003' has multiple values."

Do you have any tips on how to deal with this?

I tried to help myself with many sites e.g.:

https://www.sqlbi.com/blog/alberto/2011/07/19/parent-child-hierarchies-in-tabular-with-denali/

but an example is always presented where one article belongs to one hierarchy

I'd appreciate your help 😉

I think it's classic Bill Of Materials situation:

one material can be part of many semi-finished and finished product and its impossible to have it in separate tables
