One Drive refresh disabling every time and want help to resolve this.

Hello Team,

        we are using SharePoint to update schema instead publishing directly to service. Before setting up with SharePoint we enabled one drive refresh in Service and deployed every report to SharePoint. But the problem here is like One drive refresh icon is disabiling for some times.

 

before disabiling that icon we have some one drive refresh failed like 4-5 times it tried to call SharePoint and failed . is this reason to disabiling the icon automatically?

 

do we have any conditions similar to Schedule refresh if schedule refresh fails 4 times then automatically off this button and do we have apply same to One Drive refresh as well?

Hi @sampathK ,

As the above screenshot shows, Power BI identified this OneDrive refresh as a Scheduled refresh, but it is not possible to configure the refresh interval. You can only deactivate OneDrive refresh in the dataset's settings. 

So if the refresh fails more than 4 times, it would also be applied and you will receive an e-mail, please refer this document:

Getting refresh failure notifications

@sampathK , As refresh failed few times it might have been disabled. You should have got mail if this has happened.
