OR Selection with Multiple Slicers

Hi,

I have data as follows, and it can be downloaded here:

application idprovinceemployercitizenshipcompanyinstitution
1OntarioBcanadaAB
2YukonCFranceBD
3AlbertaAAustraliaCE
4ManitobaCUSDF
5British ColumbiaAUSAF
6OntarioBcanadaBA
7OntarioCcanadaCA
8QuebecCAustraliaCB
9QuebecDAustraliaDC
10PEIAFranceBD
11AlbertaAAustraliaBE
12AlbertaDIndiaAF
13British ColumbiaDIndiaDF
14AlbertaCcanadaCC
15SaskatchewanDIndiaBA
16YukonBIndiaAB
17OntarioBAustraliaBB
18QuebecBFranceCD
19QuebecCUSDC
20OntarioAUSDC

I have slicers for all of these columns and I have charts with application volumes. How can I get the tables to represent the number of applications with the following criteria:

Province: Ontario

OR

Employer: C

OR

Country: US

OR

Company: B

OR

Institution: F

where those are slicer selections.

Thank you

For fun and to show off the power of Excel,

Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension!

DAX is simple, but NOT EASY!

@sheap069 Hi,
you can split the fields in your table to seperate 'dimensions' as @CNENFRNL  has done in the Power BI file shared in their reply.

Hi @sheap069 ,
Be default and by definition, slicers are used to slice the data and work with the 'AND' logic in Power BI. You can change the interaction in the slicers to show all the values but in the table if they are coming from the same table, the slicers will 'filter' the data in the 'AND' condition.
