I am new to this AAS model concept. I am getting this below error.

I tried below command in Power query editor's Advance editor:

CommandTimeout=#duration(0,24,0,0)

But still getting same error. I am not sure what's the exact issue. Can I repair this from Desktop or I need to fix something on analysis service side?

I appriciate any help. Please help me.

I think even one hour is excessive. Keep in mind that while you are using the renderer no other user in your capacity can use that renderer.  You will want to complete your query in the least amount of time possible so that the renderer can be released and reassigned.

HI @krish11,

This error message means your requests have exceeded the timeout limits and the remote database breaks the connections.

As lbendlin said, you can configure the timeout property on data connection but the database configurations should have higher priority.
You can use them to set a small number to ignore the large-time operations but they weren't able to increase the database connection timeout.

BTW, you can take a look at the below link which mentions the optimization guide of power bi.

24 Hours? You are willing to wait 24 hours?  Thankfully the SSAS server did cut you off after an hour.  Their timeout always overrides your timeout.

Talk to the cube owner and ask them to help you with improving the query performance.

@lbendlin Thank you for the reply.

As per your perspective, I don't need to add that Commandtimeout right?

I will do that. Thank you for the direction.
