Re: Confused why I am getting the ambiguity message when creating a relationship?
I don't think there are any "many to many" relationships. However, I agree the Market section of the modelling probably needs an overhaul, which is the long-term goal, and my short-term fix seems to not be the correct approach. Thank you!696Views0likes0CommentsRe: Confused why I am getting the ambiguity message when creating a relationship?
The highlighted relationship is the one to many between Market and Driver Market Mapping Error Message: Also if possible, how could this be corrected to filter DimOrder correctly by Market through both DimDriver and DimCustomer?715Views0likes0CommentsConfused why I am getting the ambiguity message when creating a relationship?
I am trying to make the highlighted relationship active, I figured I would be able to, since everything is flowing in one direction. Any ideas why that is not the case? I am trying to be able to show orders by market by customer by driver.757Views0likes4CommentsLooking for the best way to count values that meet a certain criteria across different tables
Hello, Basically I have the following tables: DimLocation Zip Location FactLocation Location Employee Customer I want to be able to find how many employees work for more than 1 customer in each zip code. Let me know if more info is needed.Solved639Views0likes2CommentsRe: Looking to merge only non-filtered values
I had clicked on the filter at the top of the "Existing?" column and removed "N". Then I went to the destination sheet, and tried merging the data onto it. That is where it did not work. To clarify, I am using the date and product key (combined into a helper column) to merge the cost into a different query. However, the data arriving into the other query (from this Date-Product-Cost-Existing query) is unfiltered.676Views0likes1CommentLooking to merge only non-filtered values
Hello, In one query I have: Date Key Product Key Cost Existing? I want to filter Exisitng? to "Y" (Y/N column) and then merge the remaining values to another query. Is filtering and then merging all that is needed? I tried that and got different values, but want to see if there is something else I am doing wrong.719Views0likes3CommentsIs it possible for my total to be a weighted average? Trying to figure out MPG calculation.
Hello, I am trying to get the below to table to calculate the MPG total as a weighted average, and therefore be able to calculate gallons of gas used. Let me know if there is any info I should include. Thanks!350Views0likes1CommentRe: Can't figure out how to filter a trendline to filter off dates in Scorecard feature.
I figured out my issue, I was using the trendline first to generate the trend line, and then a separate measure to show the value. Had to make a running total measure to be able to do both at the same time.960Views0likes0Comments
