Number value not display properly in a table visual

Hi

I have a report that pulls all the data from a folder with CSV files. when loaded into PBI table that my product detail column not display correctly. It's been changed type  as type text (both in the PQ editor & advanced editor) because the column contains numbers and letters and the " - " , but somehow the numbers doesn't show how it should be. Could i please have some advice for this ? snip below is what it shows in the table visual. Also i have tried to convert it to the number in the source csv file but still no luck.

Hi @david_flu ,

The number here is in scientific notation, and while it does look like text, it is still essentially a number. If you want to show the data as it is, you can do so in Power Query by simply setting the columns to "Decimal". Close and Apply loads the data into Power BI Desktop, then in Power BI Desktop click on the column and set the Format to Normal.

If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Best Regards,

Clara Gong
