Number Format not changing in Power BI

Hi Team,

I am preparing the report with simple chart with month number with reporting value.

I have filed / measure called Reporting value. And, i would like to show the value in Million.
Ex:
If value is 5873397 in report it should shows like 5,873,397 i mean every 3 digit , need to appy.
I have tried to all the ways to change format but noting is working.

Stpes followed:

1st tried with by select thousand separator not worked.

2nd tried in model by selecting field and custom format #,##0 and #,### not worked.
3rd
change the regional setting under Power BI desktop otpions and settings also not worked.

Not sure what is missing still.

Hi @Mdived ,

Your solution is great, Greg_Deckler . It worked like a charm! Here I have another idea in mind, and I would like to share it for reference.

You can separate the numbers in table view by selecting the columns you want to change and clicking on the commas in the COLUMN TOOLS.

If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Best Regards,

Clara Gong
