I have created an append as new query and pulled in 3 separate queries to create this one. The problem is that in the append query where the columns exist that dont exist in one of the other queries I have null values. How do I remove the null values but keep the data in the column that actually exist? So in the first 2 columns I have data and the next 5 columns show null. but when you scroll down the first 2 columns start showing null and the next 5 start showing data. And I need to remove the nulls in all the columns and essentially "move the data up".,.... if that makes sense?

Hi @Anonymous ,
I have to go off line, so I would like to suggest that you would repost this again with your pbix as people usually look first at posts that have zero replies.
To post a pbix, share it to one drive or dropbox, something like that. You will get a hyperlink which you can insert by using the link symbol shown in the picture. The next step down is to copy and paste into the message as we can copy and paste right into Power BI.
Good Luck!

Hi @Anonymous ,
You might look at merging rather than appending the data. On the other hand if you can publish your pbix and show us what you had originally, and where you are trying to go, the forum may be able to help you.

Thank you for your response. I read the article, really good information. Thank you. I apologize I do not see where to post the pbix though. So I guess I can post an image instead.

Trying to understand your data, are you saying that all the values relate to the same transaction and has a common key like a date?
In that case you need to do a merge rather than an append.
If the data isn't related using a common key I fail to understand why you'd want to "move the data up" as you say.
I took Nathaniel's advise and reposted under a new topic with the pbix file if you would like to look at it.
yes the common key would be the date. but I tried merging and the nulls still show up
