Nulls in Columns

Hi Anonymous ,
I have to go off line, so I would like to suggest that you would repost this again with your pbix as people usually look first at posts that have zero replies.
To post a pbix, share it to one drive or dropbox, something like that. You will get a hyperlink which you can insert by using the link symbol shown in the picture. The next step down is to copy and paste into the message as we can copy and paste right into Power BI.
Good Luck!

Hi Anonymous ,
You might look at merging rather than appending the data. On the other hand if you can publish your pbix and show us what you had originally, and where you are trying to go, the forum may be able to help you.
Please read this post to get your question answered more quickly:

Thanks,
Nathaniel
Thank you for your response. I read the article, really good information. Thank you. I apologize I do not see where to post the pbix though. So I guess I can post an image instead.

Trying to understand your data, are you saying that all the values relate to the same transaction and has a common key like a date?
In that case you need to do a merge rather than an append.
If the data isn't related using a common key I fail to understand why you'd want to "move the data up" as you say.- Anonymous6 years agoNot applicable
yes the common key would be the date. but I tried merging and the nulls still show up
