I may be asking too much here... but if you don't ask, you will never know.
An idea was had that on my dashboard there is a text box for user entered notes... and those user entered notes get written back to a database. The next time the dashboard loads, it pulls up the previous notes written to the database about the dashboard in question. This would provide history of what notes were being taken to fix measures that were in the red. Not every dashboard load would result in notes being saved back, it would only be done say every 30 days.
Now... going for broke. It would be nice to have the text box pre populate with "text" when certain measures were in the red when loaded. If measure A was below 40%, the box would prepopulate with "Call Jack". If measure A was below 40% and measure B was below 20% it would prepopulate with "Call Jack, Call Tom".
Possible? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
You could take a look at the PowerApp Custom Visual for this.
At the moment the end user can't enter any kind of data in the report.
So for the following you can't do that
Plus PowerBI can't write into the database too
But that's a nice Idea
