Hello,
I have created two parameters, Server which contains a list of server Name we have and DataBase which contains the name of Database that we can find on the various servers.
Then I have made a multicard showing the Server Name and the actual Database.
Also, I user those two parameters to upload a table from various SQL Servers.
When I goes in edit parameters and select the Server Name and the proper Database, it works fine.
When I published the dashboard on the portail, I see the dataset as well as the default Server Name and DataBase Name.
When I click the setting icon on the right top corner of the dashboard, then settings, the dataset, the select the good dataset of the left pane, thereafter, I goes in parameters, I am able to change the server name and the Database Name as well and press apply.
However the dashboard does not seem to update. Do I need to do extra step in order to have my dashboard refresh with a new set of parameters?
Thank in advance for your help

Hi @Anonymous ,
If i understand you correctly, you might need to refresh your dataset after changing parameter.
You will need on-premised data gateway to refresh data between Power BI Service and on-premised data source.
For more details about installing gateway, please check this online document:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-install.
After installing and configuring gateway, please add your data sources to gateway.
For more details about managing gateway in Power BI Service, please check this online document:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/data-integration/gateway/service-gateway-manage.

Hello,
I already have an administrator status and despite that, the data are not refreshed.
We decide to import the data for all the server and to use a slicer.
