Hi All,
I am working on a calculation where I need to dynamically normalize(bring data in the range of 0-100%) data. Here is my input data:
Product | Category | Sales |
A | C1 | 100 |
B | C1 | 200 |
C | C2 | 500 |
D | C2 | 300 |
E | C3 | 150 |
F | C4 | 250 |
Output:
Here is desired output:
| Category | Max value | Total Sales | Normalized Sales |
| C1 | 800 | 300 | 0.38 |
| C2 | 800 | 800 | 1.00 |
| C3 | 800 | 150 | 0.19 |
| C4 | 800 | 250 | 0.31 |
If only 2 out of these 4 categories are selected then max value and normalzied sales should get changed accordingly.
