Norm.Dist

Hello

 

I am really struggling, I cannot configure the Norm.Dist to work - I think it is to do with the X value as I keep getting the error 

 

The expression refers to multiple columns. Multiple columns cannot be converted to a scalar value.

 

I am using this formula below, sample data is just a small sample
 
TEST = ADDCOLUMNS('Sample Data', "Normal Distr", NORM.DIST([Value],'Sample Data'[Mean], 'Sample Data'[StandardDev], TRUE))
 
Any help would be really appreciated

TEST returns a table. What are you doing with that ?

 

Please provide sanitized sample data that fully covers your issue. Paste the data into a table in your post or use one of the file services. Please show the expected outcome.

Hello

 

I am trying to build a table to visualise a normal distributon curve so I can calculate % probablity . I have a smaple of 30 data points in a table & column called Chol[Chol] and created measures for the average

MEAN2 = CALCULATE(AVERAGE(CHOL[CHOL]),ALLSELECTED())
and Std dev
STDDEV2 = CALCULATE(STDEVX.S(CHOL, CHOL[CHOL]),ALLSELECTED())
I then created two measures at 3 standard deviations from the mean 
-3Sigma = [MEAN2] - (3 * [STDDEV2])
+3Sigma = [MEAN2] + (3 * [STDDEV2])
 
I then produced a new table with the range of data points  
NORMAL_DIS2 =
VAR MinValue = FLOOR([-3Sigma], 1)
VAR MaxValue = CEILING([+3Sigma],1)
RETURN
 
What I then want to do is generate the normal distribution for each of these points so I can graph the curve, but everything I try doesnt work - please help or suggest an alternate method thanks
