I am trying to figure out how to change the filter type on a visualisation - I have one PBI report I have created where I am using the TopN filter on data in several visualisations. I am trying to do something similar in a different PBI report and no matter what I do I cannot figure out how to get away from the filtering option as shown in the right in the example below - I want to have the Top N filter on my data and no matter what I do I cannot locate it. I have searched help in PBI and also gone to Google with a specific search but cannot find an answer to what I am embarrased to regard as a simple question.

@Anonymous , TOP is only available for categorical value like the product, category, etc. Say you might have taken count of product in visual (it will not come), then drag the product again to visual level filter. You will get that option.
Also, it only available at visual

Doh - thanks so much for your answer, it is obvious once it is explained and you understand the principle. I now have Top N filtering working as I wanted.
