Newbie: Problem with Visuals Radar Chart 3.1.3.0

Hi all,

I want to generate in the Desktop App a "Radar Chart" for using this i dowloaded the visuals "Radar Chart 3.1.3.0"

From excel i have the following datass imported:

TitleReporting DateCategoryExperienceIssue tracking and transparencyRiskmanagementEscalationmanagementProblemmanagementProjectplanningSub-Supplier ManagementMeeting managementReachabilityFlexibilityWorking together
47/2517.11.2025Validation85445506568
47/2517.11.2025Projectmanagement34345426654
47/2517.11.2025Changemanagement43264445643
46/2510.11.2025Validation33343354334
46/2510.11.2025Projectmanagement53788963567

The Radar must look like
I have "Validation" and the ratings must be displayed in the net
I have "Changemanagement" and the ratings must be displayed in the net (another chart)
I have "Projectmanagement" and the ratings must be displayed in the net (another chart)

To be honest
I am not able to bring it to work
The visual is always refering to the "categories" and the net is created with the contents from the category (but not with the column ratings)

Can please somebody help me?
Do i need to change the excel datas?...i am lost 😞

Hi @HansBroecker ,

You need to unpivot your data based on the 3 columns you have:

Now you can use attribute in category and value in Y-Axis.

Then using a slicer you can have your data presented, or use the filter panel.

Hi @Hans

I sometimes uses this visualisation myself. This is how I get it to work.

Step 1: I go to transform data -> Enter data

ThomasWeppler_1-1763391936008.png

I type in the KPI I want to measure. The I press ok and close & apply.

I add the KPI to category

Then I write som simple Dax. Where each index in my KPI changes what calculation should be made.

Medarbejder KPIer =
IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Medarbejder KPIer'[Index]) = 1, [Bruttomargin %],
IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Medarbejder KPIer'[Index]) = 2, [Procent fakturerbar tid],
IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Medarbejder KPIer'[Index]) = 3, [Fastholdelsesgrad],
IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Medarbejder KPIer'[Index]) = 4, 1,
IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Medarbejder KPIer'[Index]) = 5, [Tilstedeværelsesprocent],0)))))

You will have to change all the calcualtions for your dataset to match your needs, but I hope this gets you in the right direction. 🙂
