Me again,
I have 2 tables both with dates (formatted as Date).
When I append the 2 tables to a New Table in Power Query Editor the New table contains the Date column but is text. When I convert this to date it changes some to Amercian format eg. 01/02/2024 is now 02/01/2024.
I need the date as date format so I can create a slicer that allows the user to have a between slicer, but with the dates changing this will through out my other columns.
Any help again much appreciated.
Alex

Hi @villa1980
Please supply some sample data from both files so we can test this.
Not sure that only some of the dates are being converted to US format. A column can't have mixed formats so I'd say all the dates are being converted to US format.
If you need to convert the dates to a specific regional format you should convert the column using Locale
Change Type Using Locale with Power Query
