Network Navigator Source Color

I created a network diagram with the network navigator custom visual.  I can't understand why the source color is not rendering correctly.  For example although source A should be red, it is the default color - grey.

Here is a sample of my data.

Row#SourceTargetSourceColor (in HEX in real data set)
1ADRed
2A@Red
3AFRed
4A#Red
5A%Red
6B*Red
7BFRed
8B&Red
9CDRed
10CERed
11DABlue
12DC

Blue

13EABlue
14EC

Blue

15FAYellow
16FBYellow

I think the issue may be that the Sources connected to too many targets that are also shared by other sources.  Sources B, D, and F renders properly.

Hi @JaysYee ,

I didn’t find the custom visual object for network navigator.

It may be that some visuals have limitations or specific requirements for color coding and do not work properly.

When I use the Table visual and set conditional formatting, it works fine.

I would be grateful if you could provide me with the pbix file.

Network Navigator is an open source custom visual.  The last release was in 2018, and described within the Github Repo as experimental and not actively developed.   For more information see the following URL:

https://github.com/microsoft/PowerBI-visuals-NetworkNavigator

It is recommended to always lean upon visuals actively developed, and to ne prepared with a fallback including change in logic or design.
