Netezza Direct Query Issue W/ June Update

So, using the new beta connection to Netezza DB for direct query! (Thank you MS!)

My issue: When connecting to a view, my measures are not summarizing. They are showing every single line's value as if they were a text field.

Notes:

  1. There isn't a Sigma next to the measure, but the Modeling tab DOES have it set up as numerics with a Default Summarization set to 'Sum'
  2. When showing the table view in the 'relationships' view, it DOES have a Sigma next to the measures.

Can anyone else experience this or have an idea?

@jimcush,

You may try to check the entire text for the query in Advanced Editor.

Hi everyone!

So, I am now trying the new beta connection to Netezza DB for direct query! (Thank you MS!)

When connecting to a view, my measures are not summarizing.

They are showing every single line's value as if they were a text field.

1. There isn't a Sigma symbol next to the measure, but the Modeling tab DOES have it set up as numerics with a Default Summarization set to 'Sum'.

2. When showing the table view in the 'Relationships' view, it DOES have a Sigma next to the measures.

Anyone else experiencing this or have an idea on how to get the data to summarize?

Thanks!!!

--Jim
