Hi
I have a table that shows a column that contains numbers representing recordsloaded for a transaction.
If the records loaded are 0 then I need to display a message.
Records Uploaded = IF('IRQuery'[RecordsUploaded])=0,"Not Automated",IRQuery'[RecordsUploaded])
But I get the error 'Expressions that yield variant data-type cannot be...'
How can I make this work?
Records Uploaded = IF('IRQuery'[RecordsUploaded])=0,"Not Automated",CONCATENATE(IRQuery'[RecordsUploaded],""))
Thanks Greg - I put in the code you provided and realized that this recordsuploaded column is summarized by groups. Each row is a total of the records uploaded for each industry for example. So, I need to display 'Not Automated' if the some of those groups of records is 0.
So, would I create a measure? like
Records Uploaded = IF(SUM('IRQuery'[RecordsUploaded])=0,"Not Automated",CONCATENATE(SUM(IRQuery'[RecordsUploaded]),""))
This is the table. Where the last column is empty, it needs to show 'Not Automated'
@Cathryn,
Would you please share dummy data of your table and post expected result here? I will test it in my environment and provide you appropriate DAX.
Regards,
Lydia
Second that, I can't visualize how you have your data constructed:
