@amitchandak , @parry2k
please help me with this
Hi @Amit sir,
actuals and budget values shd be in one column so that i can put filter on it
Hi @amitchandak sir,
i have table
| Per | Actual Mar | Actual Feb | Budget Mar | Budget Feb |
| COGS | (0.9) | (1.146) | 1.3 | 1.4 |
I should get like,
| A | B | |
| Per | Month A | Month B |
| Cogs |
A and B are slicers which shows actuals and budget
even Month and Month will be slicers
User should be able to select which actual or budget and can compare monthwise too
example: Actual selected in both A and B slicers
in Month A Feb Month B Mar
data should be shown accordingly please suggest me how can i handle this.
@sajjadkhan25 , check if this power query code can help, to build correct table
let
Source = Table.FromRows(Json.Document(Binary.Decompress(Binary.FromText("i45WcvZ3D1bSUVKAAw0DPUtNmIiGoZ6hiRmIa6hnDCZNlGJjAQ==", BinaryEncoding.Base64), Compression.Deflate)), let _t = ((type nullable text) meta [Serialized.Text = true]) in type table [Per = _t, #"Actual Mar" = _t, #"Actual Feb" = _t, #"Budget Mar " = _t, #"Budget Feb" = _t]),
#"Changed Type" = Table.TransformColumnTypes(Source,{{"Per", type text}, {"Actual Mar", type number}, {"Actual Feb", type number}, {"Budget Mar ", type number}, {"Budget Feb", type number}}),
#"Unpivoted Columns" = Table.UnpivotOtherColumns(#"Changed Type", {"Per"}, "Attribute", "Value"),
#"Split Column by Delimiter" = Table.SplitColumn(#"Unpivoted Columns", "Attribute", Splitter.SplitTextByDelimiter(" ", QuoteStyle.Csv), {"Attribute.1", "Attribute.2"}),
#"Changed Type1" = Table.TransformColumnTypes(#"Split Column by Delimiter",{{"Attribute.1", type text}, {"Attribute.2", type text}}),
#"Pivoted Column" = Table.Pivot(#"Changed Type1", List.Distinct(#"Changed Type1"[Attribute.1]), "Attribute.1", "Value", List.Sum)
in
#"Pivoted Column"
@sajjadkhan25 , Not very clear
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
