Need to concatenate mutiple columns with different data types in DIRECT QUERY in Power BI

I have to concatenate mutiple columns with different data types in DIRECT QUERY mode.

Infact I have to concatenate 5 columns.I tried with just two columns, still it does not work.

Here st_cd is text and tax_yr is number.

[st_cd]&[tax_yr]>>NOT supported in DQ

[st_cd]+[tax_yr]>>NOT supported in DQ

COMBINEVALUES(" ",[st_cd],[tax_yr])>> Not working

Any thought please.

Hi @saktisahoo2006,

In DirectQuery mode, combining columns is not supported.
As a workaround, you can achieve by creating a calculated column with DAX function.

Please refer: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/concatenate-function-dax

May I know which thread I have to follow for the solution?
