Need to calculate percentage of previous month with text as slicer

I have an requirement to show percentage of previous month in graph.Where my slicer is text format which shows mothly or weekly .Show percentage for both weekly and monthly as well.

Current month=sum(column)

Prev month=Calculate(sum(column),previous month(Date,-1,month)

But in this how can i give my date format which is in text .but based on monthly and weekly visual is changing so no issue in it.
