I have monthly budget numbers that look like this when displayed as a cumulative total using a date hierarchy set to "date":
And I'm wondering how I could go about creating a measure that calculates the daily increasing budget as shown below:
Is there any way of doing this using only measures? I have a live connection to a dataset so I cannot add columns or queries.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply but I'm not really looking for a way to create a running total, I made a mistake by displaying it cumulatively in the graphs I posted. I have the total budget for:
January: 40
February: 10
March: 50
but I'd like to create a granularity which my current data doesn't have, i.e. for January I'd like to have the daily budget 1/31*40 = 1.29 instead of the total monthly budget.
Then I can use that measure to create a running total measure.
