Hi All,
I have been using Power Query for years and it's awesome, but recently I am in need of finding a tool that can build and automate SQL Query code for me so I can copy paste it into other tools (Online editors, Tableau, Etc...). I love Power Query and the way I can blend and shape data however I am not able to view the native query for connections into databases like Impala, Snowflake and others... MS SQL I can but we use Impala and Snowflake and native query doesn't work for these connections.
Is there a tool out there that will allow be to "shape" data from any systems say Snowflake, Impala, Databricks, etc and view the SQL code? I also need to be able to also take SQL code written by my data engineers and input that into a tool so that if needed I can modify it without having to know SQL, because I am not a coder but I need a GUI for working with SQL Code and building code for these guys. For example what tool on the market provides the look and feel of Power Query, but on the backend I can generate code like this automatically and also edit code like this when sent to me via email....
Below is just some screenshots of Sample SQL Code that I would like to have auto generated from this GUI.
Thoughts on this? Any tool that can do this?
Hi @powerbignc ,
I haven't heard of this tool at the moment. You can create an idea here and vote for it.
