Need Help, How do stop drillthrough from picking up my sync'd date slicers

Hi,
I am using drillthrough buttons and a table to go from my overview page to several different detail pages.  All of the pages have the same Date slicer synced.  I want to be able to drill through to my detail pages but still have the ability to adjust the date range freely.  Unfortunately when i drill through, the drillthrough is also capturing the date range selected in my slicer on the overview page. I can still adjust within the range i selected on my overview page, but not outside of that range.  I need the synced date slicer to be completely independent of drillthrough.

How can i make my date slicer independent from my drillthrough?

Thanks for the responses, I actually figured this one out on my own.  If i turned off "keep all filters" and only added the drillthrough fields that i wanted to retain from page to page, it worked.  As long as i didn't add date as a drillthrough, my sync'd slicers still worked from page to page without limiting my date range.

Hi  @CoryMBush ,

As the date column is related to the data which is  drillthroughed and drillthrough will pass all the filters.I don't think that you can remove some of the filters when using a drillthrough.
However, a workaround could be that on the drillthrough landing page, you can put the date in "Filters on all pages"pane, in which you could select 'ALL' of the date column to lock all the dates.
So it will be like, all the filters go through and then using the filter pane, having the selection selected to all, you are removing the inquired filters. And there, you can make a second filter with dates after drillthrough.

before drillthroughbefore drillthroughafter drillthroughafter drillthrough

Here is a sample .pbix file you could refer to.

Best Regards,
Kelly
