    Hi,

    FIrst of all dont forget to change type of your date column to date, and yes, your plan will work if you:

    1. Create a SnapshotDate field to use as your date marker.
    2. Set up incremental refresh  based on this field.
    3. Publish to the Power BI Service and set up a regular refresh schedule.

    This setup will ensure that Power BI retains historical data snapshots based on the date you specify and only refreshes recent data as per your configured policy.
