I have a report displaying
Leadership - departments
From departments, I have a drillthrough to "Dept Detail" that displays in a P&L format displaying MTD, QTD and YTD.
From the P&L, there is a request to add a "Monthly Trend" button instead of another drillthrough.
I added a button using Page Navigation and synced all the slicers, except Month, but when you go to the Monthly page, it displays ALL Departments instead of the one I navigated from. I have tried using the Bookmark option, but there is nothing allowing me to go to that particular page. How can I use the Navigation button and keep filters from the current page?

Hi @Tihannah ,
Page Navigation buttons are excellent for moving between pages within the same report, but they don't inherently carry over filter contexts or selections from one page to another. This behavior is by design, as each page in Power BI can have its own independent filters and slicers. However, there are ways to achieve the desired outcome with a bit of setup.
(1)Create a slicer for the department in Page1, and then turn on the Sync Slicer to synchronize Page1 with the month page.
(2)Creating a Page Navigator.
At this point, select department a on page 1, and then go to the month page from the page navigator, which also displays only the month data for department a.
