Hi guys,
I receive a mysql database proxysql with ssl certificates as datasource.
I installed the certificates in the trusted root map of my microsoft machine. These are working since i can connect with tools like mysql workbench and dbeaver.
But when i try to connect to it with Powerbi desktop i get the following error: "MySQL: ProxySQL Error: connection is locked to hostgroup 10 but trying to reach hostgroup 30".
The strange thing is, i can connect via the gateway to the datasource in Powerbi Service.
So why does it work in other data tools and in Powerbi service, but do I get this error in Powerbi dekstop? Can someone help me to fix this error?
@robbinkees1 , On this error there are a couple of discussions(not in power bi), see if those can help
Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I already foudn these topics but unfortunately it didn't help.
Hi @robbinkees1 ,
For each data provider, Power BI supports a specific provider version on objects. Please confirm if you have met the minimum requirement :https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-data-source-prerequisites
