We are currently testing Power BI as a solution to our infrastructure. however upon initial testing this error occurs:
I noticed this brought up in anotherpost but never resolved to satisfaction. Please address this issue
Hi @jmiridium,
I just verified that I can import data from MySQL successfully with the latest version of Power BI Desktop(2.44.4675.521 64-bit (March 2017)) on my environment.
Based on my research, the issue may related to the local settings/updates of the System. Could you try testing it on another computer to see if the issue remains?
In addition, as I cannot reproduce the issue on my environment and the issue seems also relate to MySQL side, I would suggest that you also create a support ticket on Power BI Support or post it on MySQL Forums for better assistance.![]()
