MySQL 64-bit driver

Hi,

As shown on https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-desktop-data-source-prerequisites/ MySQL requires driver to be dowloaded from https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/5.3.html , but there is no 64-bit version there. Can I use Power BI Desktop on 64-bit Windows with MySql, then ?

TIA,

Ryszard.

@rylach,

Hi Ryszard.

The 32-bit connector is enough. You can use it with 64-bit Desktop. Please follow the first link.

Best Regards!
