Hello, my design looks as follows.
I am trying to get the sum of ValueStandardized in the fact table * MeterInterval in DimMeter.
When selecting a specifc site using a slicer, that filters DimMeter to only the metes that belong to that site.
In DimMeter, I have data similar to this:
MeterID | MeterInterval |
Meter1 | 4 |
Meter2 | 1 |
I need a way to sum the valuestandardized by meter, then multiply by that specific meter's meterinterval, then give the whole sum of all the meters at the site.
I have tried used RELATED, but it gives me errors I believe as there is a 1:many relationship going on.
Hi, @MCassady
Tell us which tables are involved in your calculation, as well as sample data for those tables and the output you expect. Sensitive data can be removed in advance.
