Hi,
I'm trying to lift the formula from an excel document as below - where B2 is equivalent to a column that contains a mix of characters/numbers in the powerbi table (i.e. "column X" contains STR-ABC-09394).
=IF((OR(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("ABC",B2))=TRUE,ISNUMBER(SEARCH("CDE",B2))=TRUE)), "NON_UK", "UK")
When replacing B2 with the "column X" reference in COLUMN in powerbi, I'm getting the following error - The search Text provided to function 'SEARCH' could not be found in the given text.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

You need to include the optional parameter of a "not found" return value per the SEARCH function specifications:
SEARCH(<find_text>, <within_text>[, [<start_num>][, <NotFoundValue>]])
