Multiple models

I've three separate pages one for display, one for search and one for social

Ideally we have want filters to work across all 3 pages, so if you select eg UK country on one page, you see UK filtered on all other pages.

We have one model for all three which is very table heavy

Be easier to follow if w had three separate models.

Please advise on good material/videos I can read up on how to create three separate models in the same dashboard

Thanks!

Hi, @Anonymous

I'd like to suggest you use page level filter or sync slicer to filter three separate pages.

About the three separate models, there are eight different data reduction techniques. Please refer to the article .

In addtion, It is suggested to use a star model. Star schema design and many related concepts introduced in this article are highly relevant to developing Power BI models that are optimized for performance and usability. You may refer to the article .

Best Regards

Allan

You can use report-level filter on filter pane. Or you can have a filter on one page and copy it on other pages, it will ask for the option to sync, click ok. Then choose a value on one page.
