Hi @Anonymous ,
If you want to show all values in one line chart, it will only show the aggregated values like sum, average, minimum etc currently.
Based on each month to show all year values in one line individually is not available in the line chart now.
Perhaps you can submit the requirement to ideas and add your comments there: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Here is a work-around you can try:
1. Drill your data to day level or keep date in X-Axis
2. Disable X-Axis labels
3. Add a text box or image showing month in X-Axis
Note: This would be best only in cases of static data representation since months will always remain same
Give a thumbs up if this post helped you in any way and mark this post as solution if it solved your query !!!
@Anonymous , for the first visual you have I tried Date/month-year on-axis and year as the legend. Then I can have different colors for each year.
HI @Anonymous
Do you have year and month in different columns.
If you have the complete date part in one column, use that column on the axis and to get the correct representation check the buttons on the top of the chart which comes up when the chart is selected.

Yes I haave tried this and it did not do what i needed it to do.
@Anonymous I believe you are going to end up spending a lot more time and I don't see any solution for it because the requirement is not practical.
Good luck
