Afternoon,
We use BI to collate data from reports from surveyors, sometimes 2 or more surveyors will visit the same location to carry out an inspection. Is there a way to collate and average the scores we get from the different reports but under the same identifier, site name.
We can slice the report by report author, but if we don't then scores of 5/10, 6/10 and 7/10 comes back as 18/10 rather than the average of 6.
Cheers!
Hi @JamesSimison ,
You will need a column to mark the data form different users and then put this column into the legend field of your visual.
Best Regards,
Jay
Power BI supports averaging natively. Where are you stuck?
This is one of the charts in question, for the month of may there should be 2 scores of 4, not one score of 8, how can I get either 2 lines, one for each author, or a line showing the average between the two authors? The scale is 0-6 for each answer.
Check out the May 2026 Power BI update to learn about new features.
