Multiple Hierarchy levels and fixed color formatting in Gantt 2.2.3 Visual

I am using Gantt 2.2.3 to track milestones based on its target date and color formatted on icons based on its status. Attaching the snip of what my Gantt 2.2.3 looks like and need help with below pointers

  • Need to have multi hierarchy level in showing the data, tried creating hierarchy but it does not seems to be working. Neither parent nor child fields taking multiple data entries.
  • Color formatting on the icons resets upon adding/removing new/existing filters on the report.

Thank you for your response. It does not seems to be working, I'm trying to color code the milestone icon, which is different from the Color formatting/Icons in a conditional formatting. I could able to color code the milestone icon but whenever a new/existing filter added/removed the icon formatting is resetting. Hi @Anonymous

To implement multiple hierarchy levels in a Gantt Chart 2.2.3, follow these general steps:

Make sure your data model has parent-child relationships set up correctly.

Create a hierarchy in the Power BI Fields pane by dragging a field onto another field to create a group.

You can use this hierarchy in a Gantt chart by dragging it into the appropriate field.

If the standard hierarchy feature does not work as expected in the Gantt Chart 2.2.3 visual, you may want to check if there is a newer version of the visual that supports this feature, or if there are any known limitations with the current version.

Color formatting should generally be preserved when applying or removing filters.

Make sure you're using the latest version of Power BI Desktop.

Make sure color formatting is applied correctly and saved in the report.

Reapply the color formatting and save the report to see if the problem persists.

You can view the link below for more details:

And I have provided a simple Gantt chart example, you can view the attachment
