Hi all,
I have a report which is linked to a SQL database and a Skype server database. When this is refreshed from a server (SERVER1) it succesffuly pulls the data. I can then publish this online which is setup for a scheduled refresh using the data gateway on SERVER1. Excellent!
However we are now in the process of decomissioning SERVER1 and therefore we now need to use SERVER2. SERVER2 also has a data gateway however my datasets only recognises the gateway on SERVER1.
I've tested by creating different reports and it looks like the issue lies with the Skype server database however I'm unsure how I could test this.
It's also worth noting that the gateway on SERVER2 is also being used by another report that is linked with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
So to summarise, my report doesn't recognise the data gateway on SERVER2 (I have configured the user accounts for is).
SERVER1 Data Gateway
-SQL Database 1
-Skype Server 1
SERVER2 Data Gateway
-SQL Database 1
-Skype Server 1
-NAV 1
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
J
Hi @opticshrew,
I can't reproduce your issue, it works well on my side. Can you share some detail content?
Perhaps you can test with below steps:
1. Remove the original gateway and test to refresh.
2. Create the test report with single data source and test again.
3. Check your datasource connection status at "manage gateway" panel.

Hi @Anonymous
Thanks for getting back to me.
1. I've removed this gateway however now there are no gateways available and it is asking to use a personal gateway.
2. Each test report I created contained 1 data source however again this wants to go through SERVER01.
3. All connections are successful.
Thanks,
J
