In previous versions of Power BI (currently using June 2020 edition) when creating a group based on a field you could do a control+select to select multiple items. The selected values would each have a dotted square surrounding them to indicate what values the user clicked. With the June edition that function is no longer there and can be confusing especially for new users of Power BI.
