Moving Columns on Matrix

Hi All,

I know that quite some results about changing columns on Matrix, but I tried all of them and none gave me the result I expected.

I tried creating a new table and a new relationship with the new table and simply didn't work.

What I want.

I would like to move the Success column with the other columns below it before the Failed column.

Is there a way that can be done on Matrix?

Kind regards,

Fernando

Hi All,

I managed to get it sorted.

So, creating a new table with the same data, means that is case sensitive and needs to be exactly the same format from the data that comes from the server. Otherwise, it won't work.

I had the newly table with the same content, but words with the first letter in capital and the rest not.

The original data is all in capital letters, so won't work.

Also, adding the Total on the last line to get the total of the column was a great tip @SamWiseOwl .

Lesson learned.

I hope this finds well with the rest of the community.

Cheers and thank you all for your support.

Hi @fernandosilvauk

To clarify when you say you tried making a new table.

Did you create a table (using Enter Data) that contained the Status and a sort order ID;

Status                SortOrder

Failure                       2

Success                     1

Immedetly claimed  3

Total                         4

After creating the table you then clicked the Status column and from Column Tools | Sort By Column you selected the column you wanted to sort on.

Created a relationship from this sorting table to the original table

Then used the new status column in the visual.

Is that what you tried and did not work?

Hi @SamWiseOwl ,

Yes, I did exactly like that and the values are repeated(the same) to all columns when doing it.

The order is fine, but the values didn't change.

See below:

The realtionship is Many to Many as it should.

Not sure where else to I need to relate the new Status to.

Cheers,
