I have two different multi-line line graphs that are behaving completely differently for some reason. In one, when I hover the pointer somewhere on a line, I get the details on that SINGLE data point. In the other, when I hover the pointer somewhere on a line, I get a vertical line with data details for all points on that vertical line for all line graphs…. And in alpha order. I do not want the latter results. I want the former results. I have included pics of both instances but have no idea how I can force a line graph to look like what I want. Can anyone help me?
Hi @TheKiltedGolfer,

It seems like you have dragged multiple measures to values fields of line chart, right?
If this is a case, you can add one category to legend fields and use columns in value filed, it will shows single value in tooltip.
If above not help, can you please share more detail information about your issue?

Looks like my issue may deal with High density line sampling in Power BI. Below is the link to the article published 12/06/2017. Beginning with the June 2017 release of the Power BI Desktop and updates to the Power BI service, a new sampling algorithm is available that improves visuals that sample high density data.
