More than 1 column in a given slicer with only 1 data field

 

Is it possible in Power BI?

 

In Excel, I'm accustomed to being able to increase the # of columns within a given slicer which effectively widens the slicer to display more selection options. This is helpful when the number of selections is relatively high but I still want them all ( or most) to be visible without having to scroll down.

 

Here is an example slicer with 3 columns, taken from Excel:

Here is my example slicer in Power BI Desktop, that I would like to make 2 columns but do not see an option to do so:

As you are using the old formating pain the orientation option is inside "General"

Go to slicer settings > options > orientation and choose Horizontal. Then adjust the width and height to obtain 2 columns as you wish!

How do I get to Slicer settings?
